Instagram direct messages are private messages which you can send and receive from people who you follow and follow you back. You can own direct message chats with individuals or groups.

Inside the Instagram app, Enter your direct message inbox by hitting the messages button, which views like a paper plane in the highest right side of your home feed.
Hit the + icon at the top right side to begin a new message and pick your target. Otherwise, hit a current message to resume the conversation.
In the new or existing message conversation, touch the blue camera button in the message section at the bottom to begin the camera tab.
Select a photo or record a video for your message. Modify your image or video message in the way you need with a filter, stickers, edits, or anything else you would prefer.
From the photo, video message preview, touch the sticker button at the top of the screen.
Touch the POLL sticker option.
Write a topic you want to ask in your message recipient in the “Ask a Question “section. You can ask it as a yes/no question or ask a question with two different custom answers.
To modify your two poll answers, touch the YES button, and write your reply in the given section. Do the similar with the NO button.
When you complete everything, tap Done in the top right side.
Your poll will show up on your photo or video message. Tap and keep it to move around your screen or press with two fingers and move them outward or inward to change its size.
When you complete the settings, tap Done in the top right corner.
Direct messages are permitted to be replayed by default, but you can modify this to be seen only once by hitting VIEW ONCE at the bottom of the screen. If you need to retain the chat message considerably, it never disappears; you can tap KEEP IN CHAT.
Touch the friend or friends profile picture icon near the bottom middle of the screen to transfer your photo/video message or add other receivers by hitting Send to Others and choosing people from the list to send it to them.
Use Direct Message Polls When:
You need to collect data from a more devoted group of friends instead of a massive group of visitors.
Your question is precise and only refers to specific individuals.
You don’t require to waste all your Instagram followers with excessive use of story content and risk losing followers.
