How to See Posts You Liked on Instagram 2020

· Instagram

Most notable social networks make it much comfortable for users to discover which posts they've liked. But Instagram doesn't.

It seems like when you tap the heart button on any Instagram photo or video post, and it is gone forever—unless you save the post URL and send it to yourself. However, your earlier liked posts don't get missed, and there's a hidden place within the app where you can find them.

Where to See Your Most Recently Liked Posts on Instagram

To discover your newly liked posts on Instagram, view these actions:

  • Sign in to your account on Instagram and press the profile icon from the menu.

  • Use the hamburger menu button to choose Settings.

  • Pick an account from the list.

  • Tap Posts You've Liked.

Being able to reach posts you've before liked is suitable for several things. Proceed behind to view what you've previously liked so you can:

  • Discover the new profiles to follow from posts you've liked on the Explore tab.

  • View a post's lengthy caption that you didn't have time to read when you liked it.

  • View more comments further to follow and review a specific post as additional individuals view it on their Instagram feeds.

  • Leave a comment on an Instagram post that you liked but didn't have enough time to type something out.

  • Revisit useful info that you require to see in detail later—like a product, a service, a contest, a workout routine, a recipe, a makeup tutorial, etc.

What you like on Instagram isn't only a significant indication of letting the Instagrammer know that you recognize their post. It's an amazingly helpful process to bookmark exciting and worthy things to see again.

Restrictions to Revisiting Liked Posts

According to Instagram, you can only view the first 300 photo and video posts that you've liked. That's yet a lot, but if you're an Instagram power user who likes plenty of posts a day or notes the requirement to find something you liked several weeks ago, then you will be out of luck.

Liked posts are only shown; if you liked them using the Instagram application or the web. But, you'll only see your liked posts on the Instagram app. It's not apparent that any posts you liked through a third-party Instagram app show up; if it doesn't work for Instagram's web platform, possibly, it won't work for third-party apps either.

Finally, if you commented on a photo or video but didn't also like it, there's no other way to see it again if you miss it. You'll only see posts you've liked by touching the heart button in the "Posts You've Liked" settings section of your profile but not the posts you've just commented on. So if you want to visit a post later, ensure you tap that heart button, even if your primary purpose is to leave a comment.
